Facilities

Binergy Scientific, Inc. has basic wet chemistry laboratory equipment and tools for reagents and materials synthesis. We have instrumentation and setup for coating and spray deposition of active materials and catalysts, and electrodes preparation. In terms of characterization and testing, we have a professional microscope with optical digital imaging for morphological analysis. We have a whole range of electrochemical test cells from microfluidic systems up to commercial battery test platforms, electrochemical workstation and digital measuring instruments capable to perform advanced electrochemical techniques, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and electrical and temperature measurement and acquisition. We have computer equipment and software tools for data analysis and processing. We are also equipped to develop, characterize, and integrate custom control systems, and wireless communication and data transfer modules.

We have access to University of Utah facilities when needed for a rental fee, including: core facilities in spectroscopy, confocal microscopy, NMR, mass spectrometry, BET, TGA, SEM, and other analytical tools. Binergy Scientific’s microfabrication capabilities are provided with our access to the clean room facility at Utah Nanofab at the University of Utah.
